So here are the standings at this point:

Spartansd ... by virtue of being the only person to select UCLA over Oregon ... 27 points
Me, Tom S., tidedreams and Ricky ... 26 points
Okiedad ... 25 points
Mark, Joe N. ... 24 points
Dan M., 21 Rocks ... 23 points
Joe A. .... 22 points
oilerspride ... 19 points

9 of the 12 of us have one team out of the final 2. Everyone may reselect up to one team .... either the winner or the runner-up (but you can't move the runner-up into the winner) and you can't reselect the final score. Only oilerspride is mathematically eliminated from coming in 1st.

I am reselecting Auburn to replace Florida to win the finals. The games start Thursday at noon, so reselects must be submitted by 11AM Thursday.

Joe ... as long as you're sticking with Auburn over Alabama, there is no need to replace anyone with FSU, as at this point we are only picking the champion and runner-up.

Since I picked UCLA over Oregon and my other final team has been ousted.

I will change to:

Michigan over UCLA


Fla losing was insane. I did think Georgia would give them a run after the way they played in the Regional but would have never guessed they could have won 2 out of 3 let alone sweep.

BTW the UCLA pick was not a hard one. UCLA has been the one PAC team that has been able to keep up with Oregon and beat them. Plus I love UCLA coach so I was being a bit of a homer on that pick (if possible since I have never been to California....LOL)

Now I just need Michigan to win it all and I am the Champ?!?!? Or am I? Honestly have no clue how the scoring works. Just like picking the squads.

I will pick UCLA to replace Oregon. I was going to pick Auburn but I need some help to gain some points.

Spartans ... you can only make one change this round ... you can either replace UM as the winner or Florida as the runner-up. Assuming you'll probably change out Florida as the runner up ...

Once everyone is in and/or the games start, I will summarize what it will take for each person to win. It was 1 point for the first round, 2 for the second, 3 for picking the runner-up and 4 for picking the champion. The idea of the scoring is to keep most everyone in it.

Jeff, I had Oklahoma beating Michigan in the championship game. Here my problem they are both in the same bracket. I think by the rules I really can't make any change just unlucky they ended up in the same bracket. If I'm wrong on that, I would like to make a change. I'll wait to here back from you.

You are fine. When you lose you cross over until the end of the bracket. I am almost 100% positive on that.

Then the 2 "bracket winners" face off in a best of 3.

Really this is the best way I have ever seen a champion picked. Hard for any team to complain as you do not get eliminated by one bad game or by being the second best team in the side with the best team.
