Most people know that you can't put a whole lot into the polls. There are teams missed and there are teams voted on that should not be. It does make for interesting conversation though.

That was for week two...they did not know that Loudonville had beaten Hoover, Poland pounded Elyria, etc...yet (as well as some other weekend results)...The due date is always on Friday and the results come out on Tuesday. Takes along time to count to 100...​

How does Div. III have 17 first place votes when it looks like only 12 are poll voters?

Poll voters are trying to spread news about teams in their district to other districts.
some coaches do not want their team in the poll and use it as motivation. Understand, voters
take the info they get and vote accordingly. Do they get all the info? No.But they try. The Poll is what it is,
you get no wins on the field for being ranked!!!

Here is the info on the poll as far as on how and whom is invlolved.

Basically, what I get from this, is that our high school coach is responsible for sending in our game scores and record. If he doesn't, then they are not included in the voting process. Makes more sense now. ;&

Keystone's coach is as well. I'm sure there may be other District representatives who have a good team from time to time.
