Indoor Tournament Weekly Spring League for Travel teams

The Lancaster Girls Softball Association is in the discussion phase of starting a weekly league for travel teams. The plan is to play double headers on Wednesday nights, starting apporoximately the first week of May. Right now we have space for 12 teams, and we would like 4 teams from each division of 8u, 10u and 12u. The cost would be $600. It would include a 5 week season and possibly a double elimination tournament. Diamonds at Martens Park would be used, as well as NSA umpires. Concessions would be available. We will finalize our decision to start this league in the near future. We wanted to post on this forum and see if anyone out there would be interested in joining us? :yahoo:

LGSA Travel Divison Overview

• 10u and 12u divisions only (first 6-12U travel teams and first 6-10U travel teams)
  
• Payment in Full due to secure a spot
  
• $500 per Team
  
• 10 total games scheduled
  
• Wednesday evening games only
  
• double headers played each Wednesday (1st game start time of 6:00pm)
  
• all games played at Martens or Maher Park in Lancaster, OH
  
• 5 week straight schedule goal (2 weeks saved for makeups so may go max of 7 weeks)
  
• Approx game dates from Mid-May thru End-June
  
• Teams to provide their own uniforms
  
• Standard NSA rules (75mins - no new)
  
• Official NSA rosters will NOT be verified (only the player's age)
  
• 1 Ump and game balls provided
