My Daughter is packing to head off to the Classic as I write. I'm wondering what the weather is supposed to be like in Ashland. Her High School team had their second game frozen out in a row tonight, and the weather doesn't look much better for the weekend. Does anyone live in the area and have a feel for the conditions of the fields?
I guess what I'm really wondering is what's the Classic's track record like for getting the games in when the weather is bad? I hope they get to play, but the temperature is suppossed to be below freezing tomorrow night with wind. Is it to late to pack up and move the whole tournament to Georgia?
Does anyone else that frequents this site have a daughter that's playing this weekend? This type of tournament should be a good test for the teams. My daughter's team is playing the team from Louisville,
Greenville, and Canfield. They all look to be strong teams. So hopefully the weather cooperates enough so that the games can be played.
