The Westerville WarCats were crowned champions of the 10U division of the Ohio Lady Liberty Summer Slam tournament in Grove City today. The 'Cats defeated the 8th ranked Dragons and the 10th ranked Stingrays twice to take the title. Congratulations to all of the participating teams on a well played tournament.

Congrats to the girls! But coaches, I think in order to be champions you need to win like champions...........stealing the bucket doesn't qualify you as -- well, NOTHING -- no class!

Too bad you make an assessment of the class of our coaching staff based on one thing one of our coaches said about change up's. I would think things like how we teach the game, the standards of fair play, how we treat our team, other teams and the umps, and the number of girls that come back and play the game again the next year ( Which for me is 100% of all girls I have every coached in softball have came back to play the next year). Calling out a change up does not make you classy or non classy. How does getting kicked of a game make you classy? Non of our coaches got booted this weekend, can you say the same??

Please get over it and let the girls play.

Mike there is still an opening in our pool for GAPPS and the TD has dropped the fee to $300 for 10U, Great field of teams there, why don't you come up and play. Mike Wilson is the TD you can get his contact info in the ASA tournaments section. I will try my best to make it through the whole game

Thanks for the offer to GAAPS, I know it is an awesome tournament. Unfortunately we have all our tournament schedule booked up and that week a few of our families are taking vacation. Good Luck tp the Stingrays.
