Out of state:
1. Hall of Fame Stadium complex- Say no more, it's the Mecca of Fastpitch.
2. Frost stadium with Warner park(built just for Fastpitch) very rare!! (played 5 of our 11 games in Frost at ASA this yr)
3. Botetourt complex(bathrooms in dugout is pretty cool)
4. Summit of Softball (dugouts remind me of a pavilion) great view of mountains.

My Parents love watching games at Marathon Diamonds and the fields are always in great shape . I do wish they could do more with the fields when it rains , but I have to say most parks with great fields are very protective of their fields when they get rain .

Expressway Park in Milford Ohio is always in great shape and it's the best as far as water drainage in SWO. Rotary Park is also kinda cool. The problem is they're USSSA parks so the best teams do not attend tournaments at these venues.......

I personally am a big fan of Loudonville and Berliner. I like Loudonville for the serene, laid back park setting and Berliner for the shear number of fields. I also like Pick Central and Beekman.

I'm surprised Tealtown hasn't made anyone's list yet.......lol

Shady Lane (North Ridgeville)

I remember a few years back, that people used to really like this park. For those that have played here do you still like it ?

I always liked Shady Lane, but I think a lot of that was because Doug and the Breakers did such a great job of running the tourney. Lots of fields and room to warm up, plus they had good concessions. The drawbacks were kind of in the middle of nowhere and parking is a little too close to the fields.

Loudonville was absolutely always my daughter's and my favorite, especially if you played in downtown Loudonville. Bev always runs a great tourney, park setting, on the river, close to shops and canoeing, etc. The drawbacks there again are the parking, and not enough hotels close by, and then the occasional floods though we never personally had an issue.

I personally like when it's a park and there's some shade nearby, pavilions and grills, safer neighborhoods, playgrounds for the younger siblings, etc. Lancaster and Mt. Vernon were some ones that we went to way back that were always great.

I do like Shady Lane much better than Victory Park. Other favorites are Orrville, Willig Field and Berliner.

Whoa, total miss on my part with Orville. Orville is definitely on my OH list too.

Played at Shady Lane several years ago, don't remember much about it good or bad, but I guess it didn't leave an impression then ;)

I certainly haven't played in all the newer complexes in Ohio - but with the addition of the temp fences at tOSU Beekman fields I can't imagine a better 8 field complex to play on.
