What Fastpitch Should Be About

I'm sure many on here have, at one time or another, witnessed or been a party to petty bickering. I am guilty of this too. Sometimes we lose sight of those things that we hold so close and dear.....Our daughters and our families.

As Coaches, Players, and Parents, it is difficult to keep everyone on the same page, let alone keep them all happy. As tryouts continue, I plan to put my best foot forward and set the right examples, not only for my daughter, but all others as well. I wish all players and families the best going forward as they search for the right team they can call home.

I agree. I think everybody should continuously reset themselves and improve upon their actions. I am also guilty of all kinds of behavior that upon further reflection I would strive to not do again.

And some of it I would, because it was so fun the first time. Like the time I attempted to eject an umpire (not physically) and send him to the parking lot, that was fun. But not a good example. But boy-o was it fun.

That would be fun. Great. Here comes my dark side again.

Have fun would be my advice. You only get to do this once. Before you know it.. these days will be over.

I thought it was about.
1. Crushing your enemies
2. See them driven before you.
3. And hear the cheers/boos from OFC.

On a serious note as Jonnies said Have fun with your daughter and the friends you will make..

My philosophy is you do your due diligence before accepting a spot on a team and once you have accepted you sit back, cheer, support and enjoy until the year is up. Then repeat.

I'll help you out Musty...and sneak your Your choice of beverage inside another beverage container....helps the game out.
