The northern part of Cuy. Falls (formerly Northampton Township) is in the Woodridge school district.

I assume you are asking to see if you are on track. 10u varies in every aspect so greatly and there is so much development to occur between 10u and 14u that I would not even worry about any stats. Case in point I know of a very dominant 10u pitcher that by 14u stopped pitching entirely because all the other kids surpased them. At 10u you get some girls that have developed early, some are babies etc. 10 u is about learning, fundamentals, fun, confidence etc. Leave it at that, work hard at practice and later down the road pay attention to such things

I don't trust the K ratio when I judge my dd performance. K/inning can be too deceiving because it is too dependent on the completion level. She is a second year 10u and I've seen her pitch to some first year teams and some pure 9u teams and blow through them. I'm not saying that 9u teams are bad but I can say a year of experience at TB level is an advantage. She has pitched against some of the ranked 10u teams and performed very well also but the SO dropped from 15 to 8-10. That is because of the more experienced and older players. I look for strikes/balls and something I feel very strongly about FP strikes. Especially as she gets older getting ahead of hitters is a great advantage to getting a SO or just as good gettin a good hitter to hit a bad pitch. Control means a lot.

I appreciate all of the responses – As always you guys are very helpful.

The difficulty I see in judging a 10u pitcher is trying to find something independent of the rest of the team (because sometimes at 10 a non-error is a glairing error).

But the more I read these responses it seems the only thing you can really judge is result.

If the balls on the ground in the infield and the infielder doesn’t get a glove on it, it may not be an Error but it still could be a good pitch.

Of course this makes it harder to say to other pitchers parents (or to my self)… “This pitcher is better and should get more reps and pitch on Sunday”

I thought if I had a magic matrix that showed unequivocally A is better than B or C or D every one would be happy and there would be peace and harmony.

BUT... as I'm sure I already knew and I know all of you known. It Ain't that easy.
