What is the best coaching conference around?

Last year I went to SoftballCon in Louisville Ky. Am going to that again this year. They had Jessica Mendoza there along with several college coaches giving presentations on hitting, fielding, pitching, game strategy, etc. There was a good vendor exhibition hall with deals on training aids, uniforms, equipment, and other stuff. All in all it was a good conference.
I wanted to poll the other coaches to see if there are other good coaching conferences around.

Have you looked at NFCA - National Fastpitch Coaches Assn.? Most people know of NFCA for their recruiting camps, but their real purpose is for coaches.

The NFCA Coaches College.

I have found it worth my time and effort. Also they usually do one in Columbus OH in the fall. They use top flight college coaches and the resources of the NFCA.

I went to Orlando in January and attended a class on Practices. We watched and worked with Hutch et al and with two different college teams over two days on practice methods. (Just because the kids are D1 don't think that they don't have the same problems as your team)

Two days, hands on with the best in the business; priceless!

Awesome time and great coaches. Had lunch with Eriksen and Whitlock today. Two great guy's to talk to and spend time with. Well worth the trip.

NFCA and the NFCC associated with them. Mike Candrea, Bill Edwards, Jim Miller, Sharon Drysdale, and a list too long to continue are all part of the college accredited courses they teach and covers a wide spectrum of fastpitch. You'll have Rec coaches sitting beside college D1 head coaches and staff and the information is there for everyone. As mentioned, don't think your issues at any level are much different from some of the top programs in the country. They are very receptive to your experiences as well as sharing what they go thru.
