Wyandotte Lake (waterpark) is right next to the zoo, and COSI is downtown (I think Star Wars is the latest exhibit).

Next to the zoo is Wyandotte Lake (not sure if you want the girls swimming all day before a big game though)....Check out The Ohio State campus....like to shop? there's always Easton (an outdoor mall/also has Shadowbox Cabaret and a comedy club--although not for kids) or Polaris Malls.....COSI is a science museum of sorts located downtown...there's lots of drinking or shopping at the Short North and Brewery District...
You could catch a show at the Palace or Ohio Theater, or maybe a movie at the Arena Grand or Drexel Gateway...
AAA baseball at Cooper Stadium
have your car broken into near the Ohio State campus (oops, that's for students only...hehe)
eat at Bucca de Peppo's at Nationwide (great Italian food that is perfect for serving an entire team)

Two years ago, we took our 16U girls to one of those places where they can rent the little race cars and run the track a few times...believe it was on/near Stringtown Road exit. Not sure if that place is still there, but it was a great place to blow off some steam and the girls had a blast -- got some great pix out of it too!

All good choices, especially Magic Mountain and COSI!! There is also a new indoor waterpark off of 70 at Hamilton Road. ALOT of FUN!! Very tiring though!!!

There is a great Irish Pub, A Cheesecake Factory and a Melting Pot resturant just off exit 33, RT 270. Also upscale shopping between the resturants.

Columbus is a boring as you choose to make it! ?We have a GREAT Metro Parks system. ?If you are into the outdoors and wild life check out one of them. ?We have Alum Creek Beach. ?Our zoo is one of a kind! ?We have Art galleries downtown. ?If you like games we have Gameworks at Easton. ?Lots of places for putt-putt. ?COSI is great. ?If you are looking for Disney World type activities....SORRY! ?Fort Rapids, the indoor water park, is COSTLY! ?
I hope this helped. ?

Being a girl, I have one answer, and one answer only: Malls.

Easton is great, because there are tons of restaurants and different things to see. Polaris is the other good one, and it's in a good area. Besides, who doesn't like to go shopping?

If you like ice skating and don't mind risking a twisted ankle, Columbus' NHL team, the Blue Jackets have their practice ice rink called the Ice Haus which is attached to their arena in downtown and they have public skates. It's an exact duplicate of their arena ice including all the emblems on the boards and under the ice. And if you're from Michigan you can go to OSU's football practice facillity and see all the trophys you didn't win displayed in the lobby.

The Mongolian Grill is a good experiance, I think it was at Polaris.

Boring, as long as the Bucks run into the Horseshoe, Columbus will never be boring.

If you need entertainment, walk through the campus with a Michigan shirt on.

Did I start something with this Michigan talk? Just remember that it's all in good fun.

The only thing that should be going on in Columbus is softball. Where are the batting cages at, as well as a practice area? Can we use city parks?? There is no mall, or amusment parks and any of that nonsense! ::) ::)
