What player is more valuable to a team.

Okay what I was trying to say if you have the amazing pitcher sometime she is going to be up against that amazing batter then what she needs the well rounded players to back her up. So every one is important. Playing for so long I have learned every position and I know how hard on position is with out the other. I ain't and amazing pitcher or catcher. But hey other people are there to back me up. The point of the game is to score more than the other team but what is the point of having the other players if the pitcher is just going to strick every one out?

c-mon DORK, how long have you been around this game? you show me a team of good defensive players with no pitching and I will show you a team that gets mercy ruled more times than you can count. The defense is important but with out pitching you have nothing. Yes your team must be able to score a run to win but pitching is what matters most. That is why pitchers are the most sought after players. every player on the team is important and must do their job to be successful. but if a pitcher is getting rocked or struggling with strike zone, you don't yank the short stop or the right fielder you yank the pitcher. Who is responsible for walk that scores. the center fielder who didn't get to the ball or the pitcher who put that runner on for free in the first place. It actually goes deeper than that but you get the point.

I get the point yes the pitcher is important but when she is hit of of then she has to depend on the centerfeilder to catch the ball someone to call out the play the second basemen to run out for a cut the short stop to be where there needed the second to throw to the third basemen and third basemen to get the catch and make the tag or get it to the catcher for the tag at home she may control the speed of the game but once someone gets on the base its al[ in the deffences hands

I will take a clutch player at any position or spot in the order . A team can have a great group of players but one can get er done when the team needs it the most !
