Gapss is always a great one. This is one you don't want to miss. Stingrays, of coarse is my favorite.

Beside the ones already mentioned. (Stingrays and GAPSS)
Beavercreek holds very nice tournaments. Bob Darden is one of the best TDs around. USSSA
Ohio Wave Early Bird USSSA qualifier tournament
Sun Raze (north east Ohio) NSA
Toledo Tune Up USSSA
Edge Pastime Tournament (Bowling Green) NSA
NSA State at Tealtown
Expressway Park Tourneys They do a great job. Mostly USSSA tourneys at Milford, Oh

If you are looking for hard core competition I vote for GAPSS and Stingrays. They bring out strong competition and reallly know how to run a tournament.
They both handle the rain dances fairly well too!

Of course Stingray, GAPSS both class tournaments followed by;
Warcat Invitational - Westerville - good mixture of teams
Raging Thunder - Vienna - excellent facilities - Good competition get to play teams we do not normally play. Love playing Pittsburg teams.
John Wells Memorial - Zanesville - 6 games - good mixture of teams. Would like to see them get away from playing at Armco Field or have the city take care of them.
Ohio Classic Tournaments - Pickerington - always good competition

6) Heatin It Up-Cincy (only if they move it back to the Queen City complex)

8) Heart Of Ohio-Marysville
9) Thunderplex-Youngstown area (any tourney that Dave puts on is a good one)

I takes a dedicated bunch of parents, a great team rep, (she did all the travel arrangments, Thanks Julie if you read this), and a commited bunch of girls but we had a lot of fun this season.
Unfortunatly we were not able to work Memorial Maddness and Stingrays in last year. (Hopefully we will be able to work them in this year) We went to both of those as 11's. We spent most of the summer all around Ohio. One more good tournament that I forgot about was Uncle Stans. We went there for the first time this year and the girls loved the competition and the fields.

It's interesting that nobody has mentioned SluggerFest yet. A few years ago this tournament would have been in just about everyone's top 3 or so.

Unfortunately, Aunt Rosie's in NY has turned into pretty much a rec. level tournament. Used to be a great draw for out-of-state powerhouse teams. Great facilities, fields and friendly folks - but a LONG drive for a rec. tournament.
There are plenty of quality tournaments in or close to Ohio that can challenge most any team. The grass isn't always greener...
