Who picks your tournaments?

As it is the season for scheduling summer tournaments I was wondering who picks where you go? Some organizations pick for all their teams, some the coaches pick, and I have heard of some where the parents/girls get to vote. So how does it work in your org?

I let all my coaches pick there own, but will give advise if they ask (Especially on Showcases)

I would be afraid of finding my team at the local "tournaments" this way - with little travel and little competition...

The Organization my team belongs to it is left to the coaches to derive their schedule...

For my particular team I mix certain "definites" and "parent choice" tournaments - looking for our best balance of competition and travel/budget.
The parent choice tournaments usually are a either / or (2 or 3 choices that fit our team).
Like to try and avoid playing same teams repeatedly also...(mix locations)

Our coaches pick.

We picked ours based on what sanction it was a qualifier for, competition, and travel time. we are lucky to have lots of great tournaments from the youngstown area down to c-bus.
