Our program has decided to start pitchers and catchers on Feb 22nd rather than the 21st because of Presidents Day.
School ball ,another great start.
Start late , swing late and leave early.

The school I teach at will start Monday. The school my daughter will pitch for will start on Tuesday. She's been pitching all winter long. I'm not stressing over one day.

My dd's school starts on Monday. Unfortunatly, she will only get to watch since she was in a car accident today.

I see it now firststrike, your HS loses in the semifinals and will say it's because we started on the 22nd versus the 21st, lmao!!! Had we only had one more day of practice. :lmao::lmao: (maybe rain days count toward leaving the tourney early, lmao)

Thanks Shane. Someone was looking out for her today. She got off a little into the muddy berm, tried to correct when her tire blew and she slammed into a tree. Car is totaled but she had just cuts, bruises & whiplash.

Warriors - Thinking of your daughter, my daughter was in one that totaled hers and the truck. Got on the scene and was amazed no one was hurt. Good luck to her speedy recovery.

Springboro will start on the 21st... We are making a snow day up on President's day. SO if we are in school, we are going to start Pitchers and Catchers.

Every parent reading this thread must have breathed a sigh of relief that your dd is ok, especially after the description of a tire blowout. Accidents and other adverse circumstances are always in the back of our minds, but we can't keep our kids in a bubble. Best of hopes for a quick recovery.
