How did Clinton win Ohio? I would like to see Mac Vs. Obama. The debates would be awesome.

No good choices! Can't even find a lesser of the evils. McCain will continue to drain our economy in Iraq and either Obama or Clinton will give it away to illegals or some other undeserving, non-working, system milking group. JMHO - which I'm aloud to express because of I live in the USA.

You are absolutely right, vstormmerle---you have the right to express your views because you live in and are a citizen of the greatest nation ever born. ?Our freedoms and privileges are the envy of every other country in the world.

Please forgive me, but I am going to use your post as talking points to speechify---here we go, lol. ?;)

1. ?"No good choices"---agree, none of those running would be my first choice ~ but until my ideal candidate comes riding in on his/her white horse, I'm gonna go with Hill&Bill (none of the others can beat them for experience and contacts---I know, I know ~ that's just what many of you don't like about them),lol.

2. ?"McCain will continue to drain our economy in Iraq"---again, absolutely agree. ?He is a war-hero and a very proud man. ?It would be impossible for him to admit we went in where we shouldn't have and to leave without glorious, uncontested victory. ?I'm afraid that many more of our brave soldiers would be sacrificed so some so-called hawks in the White house (who never served a day in the military and would never let their own children), can save face.? :'(

3. ?"Obama or Clinton will give it away to illegals or some other undeserving, non-working, system milking group"---I don't think any of us likes the idea of wasting our hard-earned tax dollars, but we have to face facts. ?Unregistered immigrants are here, and we have to deal. ?To paraphrase ~ how we treat those least able to help themselves speaks volumes about who we are as a nation.

As far as the "non-working", as I've said in a previous post, I believe most people would prefer the dignity and independence that a?meaningful, decent paying job offers. ?Sure, everyone has heard that there are folks who would rather sit on the couch and receive disability/unemployment checks, but I prefer to believe the best of people (I know, hopelessly naive, lol).

Lastly, in regard to "system milking groups"---you must be referring to the wealthy/big corporations. ?Any assistance this current govt has given the common man/working poor is but a tiny drop in the tsunami of give-aways it has given the already well-to-do. ?With this presidency---"Membership has it's privileges" (I'd laugh if it wasn't a cryin' shame).

*That sound you hear is me, climbing down from my soapbox.* ?;) ::)

I'm not sure I get the choices. Is Obama vs. Mac a vote for Obama? And Hillary vs. Mac a vote for Hillary? Wouldn't we need one for McCain vs. Obama and McCain vs. Hillary as well?

I agree no good candidates. The problem is that our political system has become a self serving monster rather than one that is serving the public. It is about the politcal parties agenda and not about the needs of the many but building the political empire through lobbyists funds.

We already voted for a change in 2006!

?A little over one year ago:
? ?1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
? ?2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
? ?3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

?Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we've seen:
? ?1) Consumer confidence plummet;
? ?2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3 a gallon;
? ?3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
? ?4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value
? ? ? ?evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
? ?5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
? ?6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

?America voted for change in 2006, and man did we get it!

You can choose to bash the President all you want, but be aware that his approval rating is THREE TIMES BETTER THAN THAT OF CONGRESS!!! ?Thats a fact.

In case you haven't noticed, corporations in this country PROVIDE ? J O B S to those of us who need to work. ?

Hill n Bill brought us NAFTA (remember?). ?And neither one of them can tell the truth EVER

Obama looks up to racists and hate mongers as his Mentors and doesn't have a clue about foreign policy.
They both want to give away everything we (you and me) have worked for. ?Universal healthcare - brought to you by the people who can't issue you a passport in 3 months?? ?Right. ?Baby bonds... ? yeah like we need more reasons to keep poppin out kids with no concern as to how to feed them... ?Oh wait, that's the goverment's job too... Sorry.

Tax the oil companies... yeah, that will make gas get cheaper alright...

How about drilling for the resources in our own country? How about building a new refinery or 2? ?How about building some nuclear power plants instead of inventing the internet and whining about the global warming myths... ?That's why everyone up north is so burned out on softball already, because with the increase in temperatures, they've been practicing outside since December....

McCain wasn't my first choice either, but unless we want to fight terrorism HERE on OUR SOIL we better elect someone who truly understands what it is like to have an enemy set on DESTROYING US, OUR FAMILIES, and OUR WAY OF LIFE.

My son is a proud member of the US Army 101st Airborne. ?He and his troops all want a Commander in Chief that they can trust to have their back. ?That will never happen with the current crop of Democrat Candidates.

God Bless the Troops
God Bless the USA

If you can read this thank a Teacher
If you can read it in English, thank a Soldier, Marine, or Sailor!!!

Well said GWOC_Fan.

By the way, why would we want the Dems to run our country. Look at the bang-up job they've done with their primary process. What a mess!

GWOC_Fan----I thank you and your son for your sacrifice and service.

But I must respectfully disagree with just about every single line you posted, lol, which is one of my beautiful rights as a fellow American. ?:D

There's just no getting around the completely different paradigm/world view of democrats and republicans ~ as I like to say, "we're just wired differently", lol. ;) ?

But it is all part of the checks and balances envisioned by our founding fathers and I relish the exchange of strongly-held beliefs. ?Thank you for your honorable opposition. ? :)

Katjobenmom,

Thanks to every one who offer their support and prayers for our sons and daughters past, present and future who fight for our freedoms and those of others.

No problem. ?I certainly understand that we are indeed wired differently.
Most Libs have extreme difficulty with the real truth. ?Check the facts!!!!
Just look at Hillary and Billary. ?Truth? ?What's that???
I will continue to believe what I say and will continue to say it until I have no breath left in me.

You may well choose to do the same thing... ?But in the coming years, if you and your kind get your way, you will be speaking of your opposition in back alleys in hushed Arabic. ?Believe me.... ? ?you won't last long in that environment.

That's what really strikes me as contradictory about all the libs, particularly in Hollywood....
How many movies do you think they'll make when the Jihadists have taken control?
Can't you just imagine Rosie O'FatA$$, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or Alec Balwin meeting up with Achmed one sunny afternoon??
