The Knights of Columbus Council 626 is hosting a fundraiser dinner & silent auction November 14 from noon to 4 to benefit the Wheeling Jesuit University softball team as they seek to improve their facilities. The dinner will be held at St. Alphonsus Parish Hall, Settlement Road, Norwalk, OH and includes grilled pork loin, salad, applesauce, green bean casserole and homemade pies. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12. Silent auction items include sports memoribilia from Archie Griffin and softball legends Crystl Bustos, Jennie Finch and Michele Smith. There are also other great items such as restaurant gift certificates and an AVON gift basket. PM me for tickets.

I'd like to thank Tom for his work in setting this up for us. I have never met Tom--we became acquainted when I sold a bat to him on Ebay. He generously offered to organize this fundraiser thru the local K of C since Wheeling Jesuit is a Catholic university. I will be on hand and in addition to the items Tom mentioned, I will be bringing some other signed sports memorabilia. Should be a good meal for a great price.

What is the actual address of the event and can you buy tickets at the door?

I'm sure you can buy tickets at the door, but they probably will want to try and get an idea of how many people are attending, so you may want to send Tom a PM.
