My niece, recently had a try out for Xcalibur their located in Sterling, Ohio. She took their offer to join the team. I was just wondering if any people in here know about the team? Like do some of the girls that play for them go on and play college ball?. She's going to be freshman this school year. But I'm just looking for info on this team, thats all.

My DD has subbed for Dave a few times on the 18u team. He is a good coach, cares about the girls and I know at least a few of them are playing in College.

Both of my daughters currently play on the Xcalibur 14U team and I absolutely love this team. We were coached last year by two of Dave Camp's former players that are both playing at a D2 college. This year his 18U team has 1 player going to a D1 school and several to D2. Dave has had players go all the way up to the Akron Racers.

lgoode0207,
Thank you! from what I've read about the team it seems like they made a good choice. I'll prly see you around at tournaments and such, yea they both play at Cal U of Pa which is tough program in D2. Do you know what D1 school she's going too?

sir feel free to call me id be glad to fill you in on my coaching experience. I have over 40 years of doing this. two national championships and a high school state championship. maybe a couple hundred college players don't now exactly how many d1 kids but at least one at every d1 school in ohio. I think I can help a 14 year old girl get to the next level. I don't need to send a PM I can say what needs to be said right out there for everyone to see.

Coach,
I just wanted information thats all, hope I didn't make you mad. From everything I've heard and read so far I don't doubt that they did. I can't wait to come to the games. I sent you a PM explaining this more. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything with this post, just looking out for my niece thats all.

My oldest DD subbed for Coach Dave in Dayton probably over 5 years ago; great guy and she had a wonderful experience. It has been awhile since I last bumped into him, but I really like his style and he is very caring and dedicated.
