Xtreme Heat 99 takes Bronze at Myrtle Beach

Xtreme Heat 99 (Soon to be Ohio Glory 99 Navy) went 5-2 en-route to a 3rd place finish at the Triple Crown East Coast Summer Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC this week. Our girls beat teams from New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, and Virginia before losing to a very good Gold Coast Hurricanes team in the winner's bracket final and then in the semi finals to Carolina Curve. It was a strong finish to our season winning 16 of our last 19 games. Great job ladies! I look forward to resuming fall workouts with you in September.

Our young ladies had an excellent finish to our season going 16-3 starting @ GAPSS to MWASWS to MB Nationals. Way to play your best ball to end a meatgrinder schedule. Congrats ladies. Very proud!!

Congrats Tony, it doesn't surprise me your team was so successfull. We had the pleasure of playing the 10u Stingray's team you coach a few times this year, and every time was a battle to the end, but never got testy amongst fans, coaches, or players. Just good old fun, competitive, clean softball. Enjoyed competing against you, your a class act, as were your players and parents. Good luck to you next season.

Bill not sure how it went with your game against the 'Canes. Definitely a very good team, well coached, but OMG were those not thee worst parents ever??? They were literally heckling our players during the game to the point one of our coaches went over on their side and stood for awhile. Talked with a couple other teams who said the same thing about them.
