We seen it happen to Pro Softball Pitcher the other day.......It is happening more & more at the highest level - Yet we have SO-CALLED COACHES shaming young ladies & bad mouthing them, instead of putting their well-being 1st, like they are suppose to!!!

PUT THE MASKS ON!!!!
Has nothing to do with skill level.....Everything to do with safety!!!

All fielder's should wear a mask. I saw a middle infielder get hit in the face, with a line drive, this summer. Thankfully she was wearing a mask, she's a solid little player, her glove went in front of her face and she got blinded. It it was really horrible to watch and something I will not soon forget. It's not enough for just pitcher's to wear a mask, it's so simple, I don't know why a player wouldn't.

I had my dd's watch this last night. That is why they wear a mask. You are right, it is not about the skill level, the reaction time from a ball leaving a bat at 100 mph is tough. It is ironic that the fans make fun of the pro baseball pitchers that wear the protective cap. I understand there are two sides to this, it just seams there are more of these occurring with the pitchers and batters getting faster/stronger and better production of bats.
