You know it is tryout season when all your parents suddenly chill out and are somewhat sane at the WS.

Then your wife shows up and you announce that she will be the 12U coach next year (I was coaching the 11U) and suddenly no one is interested in what I have to say and my wife is now the smartest person in the room(which is probably true anyway). When I told everyone I pulled my 16 year old son aside and told him what was about to happen and then the next night he walked up to me and said "WOW! I thought you where just making a joke......but these people are all over Mommy".

Nothing like tryout season to bring out the crazy.
