Clinic Goal

  • Our goal is to provide emphasis on powerful and safe mechanics on fastball and changeup as well as other movement pitches (session II). Rapsodo 2.0 will be used in both sessions. All pitchers will receive data to help maximize and design your pitch arsenal.

Rapsodo provides detailed metrics for pitchers to analyze their performance, including spin rate, spin direction, and spin efficiency. These metrics help in understanding how much a ball spins (measured in revolutions per minute), the direction of the spin, and how much of that spin actually influences the ball’s movement towards home plate. For instance, spin efficiency is crucial as it indicates the percentage of the total spin that contributes to the ball’s movement. A high spin efficiency means more of the spin affects the ball’s trajectory, which is particularly important for pitches like fastballs where maximizing raw spin and spin efficiency is vital.
