What are people paying

At 12U, roughly 14 years ago, the fees were $800. That included Winter indoor training facilities twice a week, Spring/Summer field practices 2-3 times a week, 2 full uniforms, batting helmets, bat pack, 4 Fall tournaments and 11-12 Spring/ Summer tournaments. We had 1 fundraising event which wasn't hard to do at all. My last 12U team 5 years ago included all of the above, had 1 fundraiser and our fees were $750 for both years at that age level.

Our team is having this discussion right now and I will admit that we probably have one of the higher fees out there at $2400 plus $150 for 3 jerseys as a 1st year 12U team. We played 2 fall tournaments plus 2 RR friendlies and have 9 Spring/summer tournaments. We have parents discussing what other teams charge and I myself wonder if its too much considering what all you get with a different organization.

Since you actually put the additional $150 for 3 jerseys, I'm curious - Do you get pants, helmet, bat bag in your $28K budget for 11 players?
11 tournaments @ $600 each plus insurance leaves $22K for indoor training????? I'd def ask to see the books! Cause someone is making some bank here!!!

Well its a for profit place. I was aware of that when we joined in 9u but that was the team she made. Now that she is progressing I think it's time for a change and unfortunately it is a money issue and not a coach, parent, or playing time thing.

But no we get nothing else and that has been an issue with girls that joined our team that came from other teams.
