Ohio Starz 05 were at Cap City this weekend. We went 4-3 overall, including three shutout victories.

Finesse 05 played in the 22nd Annual Preseason Classic in Maumee, Ohio....we went 2-3....2 of our 3 defeats were from the eventual tournament runner-up and tournament champ. The tournament champ, Tournin 2 2022 is a strong club!!

SPC Hotsox '04 played at the perfect storm in Youngstown. Went 2-0-1 in pool play. Bracket play made it to semifinals and were up 3-2 in the third when the rain came for the second time of the day and ended the tournament early. Ended up with a second place finish due to runs allowed during the whole tournament between the final 4 left. Pittsburgh Power allowed 2 less runs than us to take first place. Next up for us is Slam Series. Good luck to everyone next week!

 

[Pack04]

Wolfpack 04 played up in the Maple Leaf East 14U tounramentin Streetsboro City Park and Aurora. The girls won all three pool playgames and moved on to to win all bracket games on Sunday to get to thetournament championship. We faced Ohio Monsters 02-Black in the championship,who we beat in pool play. Unfortunaley mother nature did not cooperate andthe game was called after the fourth inning. Ohio Monsters 02 was awardedfirst place as they had more runs going into the fith inning. Very proudof our girls playing hard against older competition. They hit like champsand had two games where they mercied teams. We are headed to Columbusthis weekend for the Lasers Invitational.

Ohio Stampede 04 won its second consecutive ENQ tournament. We were undefeated again this tournament, having won our last 11 games by a margin of 98-19. We will play in Ashland this weekend.

 

[Laser05]

Lasers Blue was off and are preparing for Laser Nation this weekend. See everywhere there!!!!!

Beverly Bandits Demarini played a productive 14u weekend at the Thunder Elite Perfect Storm tournament. We had a 3-3 record and ended up getting rained out in the semifinals of bracket. Our 3 losses were to the other 3 teams in the semis. Here were our results.

Outlaws 05 were at cap city. We went 7-1 we made it to the championship against Central Ohio Vipers Down by 1 when game was called due to rain. Next up is Lasers for us this weekend. Good luck to all the teams.

Outlaws 04 Richards went 7-0 outscoring our opponents 122-4 at the Capital City Showdown this past weekend. Lost the coin flip to get into the Championship Game. We are off this weekend and headed to the Outlaws Summer Invitational next weekend.

The Ohio Starz 04 went 7-0 over the weekend at the Cap City Showdown with a combined run differential of 98-6 over the 7 games. Exceptionally proud of our girls who, knowing that their backs were against the wall, put up 3 straight shutouts to force a coin flip to play on in the championship game. Congrats to the Vipers, who gave us a heck of a game last week at the Firefighters Memorial, for winning the coin flip and beating the Outlaws 05 in a rain shortened final.

The Starz record is 19-1-1 this spring with an overall record of 41-1-2 dating back to last fall. We are looking forward to playing the best competition in the Midwest this week at Laser Nation.

The Lady Bombers '04 has gone 34-5 since the Spano qualifier in Febuary. We have only lost 3 games since we have gone outdoors. My girls have only lost 1 game in the last 3 tournaments. We are off this weekend and fire back up with Toledo, USA/ASA States and then 5-Alarm.
