Boy g3, I don't know what was said earlier but it sounds like some don't care for your opinion. I imagine mostly those whose kids aren't on the "top 2" teams perhaps????

We just didn't like the way he went about it Klump,starting from the beginning usually helps us understand where were going with it, No envy here ,the top 2 don't need any talk ,they are there because of previous years play or are expected to be the best due to player selection and or organizations expectations,shouldn't be much to talk about.

Those polls would be great but no one wants to admit we all have them,some more than others,I try to be a good parent ,because ive head coached,not allways fun (parents etc).As far as being a thread killer ,sometimes they need to die.(pres debate,dirty laundry)are a few ,sometimes someone just nails the topic and not much more can be said ,either way the'll be something on here to comment on.

He would certainly know if he deserves top 2 and knows other teams up there and around the state ,sounds like a good choice to me,not that i matter in the selection.

Everyone matters. Who is to say your dd doesn't play on one of the top tier teams in the future or your team is one of them this season?

My dd is not on either of the 2 teams mentioned earlier in the thread, but both of those teams are very good. I know this as we played them both several times last season. There are also other teams that I have personally seen that will be contenders for the top 10. Here is a partial list. I might not list a few that should be on the list as I am getting older, or I have not seen them play. This list is also not in any particular order.

Classics '00
Buckeye Heat '00
OFC Heat '00
Ice Black '00
Wizards Elite
Elyria
Cincy Static '00
Ohio Glory '00

and of course the 2 teams mentioned before, Thunder Elite '00 and Lasers Orange.

I also think there are some 11u teams that will make some waves.

Stingrays '01
Ohio Storm '01

Thanks,would like to see them there (dd's team),only seen three of those teams this fall mentioned,all good teams,we should have a chance to take a game from a couple,her team is working hard to get there,looking forward to seeing more of the teams listed.Should better qualfyed to talk about them this summer.

Not that you meant to but I would not forget Grand Slam, the Liberty team and Ice Silver form your 11U teams. From the 10U last year that I saw, those are the top 6 11U teams in the state. I did not face anyone from the Cincy area though.

Thanks for putting those teams on my radar to check out. I have not seen any of those teams play, yet. I will make sure I keep an eye out for those teams and all of the other 11's at the tournaments we attend.

Drew here is my list of really good 01 teams that we either played or saw play last year and only in the order that I can remember. I think all deserve credit and will compete well at the 12u level this year. Grand Slam, Lasers Green, Storm 01, Marion Diamonds, Stingrays, Ice Silver, Hawks Robinson, Liberty Blazers. I'm sure later I will think of a few more.
