2013 Ohio Stingrays Showcase July 12-14 12U Scores

12U game scores will be auto-posted into this thread and to Twitter using the @StingraysTourn username and #stingraystournament hash tag. This will allow everyone another method of viewing scores as they come in without the need to load the full bracket or pool in a web browser. Follow @StingraysTourn and get updates sent directly to you.

Coaches, players, parents, and softball fans can sign up to receive text score and weather alerts - register by going to:

Options are all age group scores, pool scores for all teams in a particular pool, all age group bracket scores, and/or weather. Sign up as many times as you want.

Once again this year, the Stingrays Summer Showcase scores and standings will be auto-updated to OFC, with scores also auto-posted to Twitter.

In addition, for the first time, the Stingrays have an Android app that enables smartphone and tablet users to view team schedules, pool schedules & standings, brackets, field maps, and late-breaking announcements right on their smartphones. Thunder Elite vs Ice Orange in the Championship. Elite put up several runs and looked to have control when I left.
Final 8 teams were 4 Ohio teams and 4 out of State teams.
Ohio teams were, Thunder Elite, Laser Orange, Stingrays 00 and OFC Heat.
Then Thunder and Orange in the Ship.
Great weekend of Softball!!

I agree. Congrats to all of the Ohio teams. We (OFC Heat Orange) had a blast. We played a lot of tough teams. Thanks to the Stingrays for a well run tournament.

Just want to say how nice it is to come to an event like this where everything runs so smoothly. Fields broomed/raked and chalked before every game (even batters box), games were on time, the scoring updates and Twitter feed is just Awesome. Overall very impressed !!! Well done Stingrays!

Mike Marcum and his crew did an outstanding job of running things at the 12u site and also Rudy with pre tournament info outstanding. best run tournament for sure.

Very impressive tournament all the way around. The worst part was figuring out what game I was going to watch when we weren't playing! So many good games this weekend.
