Good Luck to the Poland LL 14u team!
They are representing the Central Region (and Ohio) and will start the elimination round tomorrow with a 3-1 record at the Junior Little League World Series in Kirkland, Washington. Go OHIO!

Thanks, FastBat. After earning the number 1 seed in our pool, the girls lost their first bracket game to the team from the East region. I think we just ran out of gas as the week went on. The format of this tournament was different than the typical travel tournament. Instead of multiple games for a few days, we played a single game each day. Counting the regional tournament in Chicago the week before, the girls played 13 games over 15 days. That includes travel back/to/from Poland, Chicago, and Seattle. All of the other teams at the World Series had at least a week off before their first W.S. game, which surely helped with rest. Anyhow, it was a great experience for the girls, and their parents.

Our all-Poland team had players from four travel organizations: Thunder Elite (4), Pride (5), Silver Creek (1), and Streak (1).
