DODGE CITY, Kan. – The top ranked University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (53-2, 36-0 SAC) suffered their second loss of the season on Tuesday morning against the University of Houston-Victoria. No. 2 seed UHV scored once in the first inning, and that was all they needed to take the 1-0 win against the No. 1 seed Drovers.

The Jaguars took an early lead by scoring once in the bottom of the first inning. Following Houston-Victoria's run in the first inning, neither team scored for the rest of the game.

Emily Cerny (SO/Newcastle, OK) pitched all six innings for the Drovers, allowing just one run off of two hits. Cerny struck out 4 batters in the loss.

Kristen Prieto (JR/Moore, OK), Randa Hatter (JR/Stratford, OK), Tarah Madron (JR/Konawa, OK), and Emily Cerny each recorded singles for the Drovers.

The Drovers will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 PM as they face the winner between No. 3 Bellevue University and No. 4 Avila University in Dodge City, Kansas.
