Ohio Classics Fall Qualifier - Scores and Updates

SJust a few more details and the place will be ready for a great little fall tournament. ?Help me out with scores... I'll update what I can in the evening. ?

I'm gonna change the our rain line to a "Sunny" line. ? ?Sunny and mid 80s all week.

Saturday pool play games are gonna be all over the place. ?Most teams are missing players or have subs... Subs are fine but they MUST be 2008 age group elegible. ?Kids can play up to fill spots but not down. ? You can start a game with 8 players but you will be penalized an out each time that spot comes up in the batting order. ?If they player joins you later in the game they can be added in that spot or to the end of the line-up if you have at least nine. ?You can bat your whole roster if you are lucky enough to have a whole roster there.

All diamonds except the Junior high have dugouts and bleachers. ?So bring a chair if you are playing at PNJH and maybe a canopy for the team. ?

Xpress 5-2 over Classics
Cinci Storm over Classics 6-3

not a great day but we're positive...this game IS about inches, and all about hustle..there's always tomorrow...the only scores that were in, or results, were the turbos in 14's lost both pool games, and the stingrays (16's) lost 0-1 in international tiebreaker
it's hot, the concession lines are humming and statman already misplaced his wallet (but luckily found it)

there were alot of girls absent from other teams due to homecoming, cross country and volleyball...of course, playing in the fall has it's own rewards, like 90 degree weather (in october no less)

In 14U pool play, Stingrays vs. Doom, Montana Wear, of the Doom, hit one OUT OF THE PARK against us.

Congratulations Montana, it was an awesome hit.

Stingrays held on to win 6-5.
Stingrays over Buckeye Heat 93, 3-2 in elimination.
Stingrays fall to MVXpress 4-1 to bow out.
