Those crazy end of the year roster changes

I notice it every year as the end of the regular season approaches. Due to legitimate reasons (injuries, players jumped ship, parents don't want to take a long trip), teams need players if they want to go to their planned nationals.

But it's amazing to me to see some going to nationals with 50% new players - can they all get added by the rules? I know the ASA add-on process is tricky and very limited - not sure how NSA and PONY does it.

Does it matter? Do the sanctioning bodies really care?

Not interested in "outing" any specific teams/players, but it seems teams and coaches are in a precarious situation - can they be pulled from a tournament, have a title stripped, or be banned - has it ever happened or does everyone look the other way?

we seem to be one of those scrabbling teams - we have lost 5 of our original roster for all those reasons and because of these wacko rules - we cannot add 2-3 players from other teams that are not attending the Nationals - let me know if you have any 16U players that might be able to go!!!

Are the parties involved in these rules really truly going to check every roster to see if they are legitimate across the country - i have to believe that teams are going to get 1 or 2 ringors to play on these teams in states like CA, GA, TX, etc.

we are not stealing players - these girls and thier teams did not qualify why not let them play in the biggest event of the year on another team.
