Slugger Fest dates for 2009 have now been posted.
You will find them on our site at www.sluggerfest.com

I have made these changes and can promise you that NO ALCOHOL will be sold during the event in 2009. Rivershore shuts all taps off with ALL youth events and has not sold one drop of beer during any event in 2008 or previously. It does not hurt our concessions one bit.

I apologize for the issues of 2008 and now will have complete control in the future.
With these changes also comes limitations of numbers of teams that can be accepted. I will have the registration forms and information up by months end.

I thank those of you that have attended in the past and hope to see you soon at Rivershore in the future!

Hey Patty,

Am I correct that the 14u is a National ASA Qualifier? No regional restrictions? If so that is great news.

Thank you! It was never my intent to allow the girls to put up with what happened this year. I can promise it will never happen again!

I think enough people know me well enough that I am in this game for the girls - always have been and always will be!

Due to scheduling conflicts - the 14U Slugger Fest will NOT be a USA/ASA National Qualifier in 2009.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but needed to let all know.
I have updated the web site to indicate this.

Patty,

Based on the website, Sluggerfest is going to be open to Region 10 Teams only for 14U, is that correct?

I also noticed on the ASA website that only a small portion of Cincinnati is in Region 10, were everyone else in ohio is Region 9?

Slugger Fest will be open to all teams, however, only teams from Region 10 can earn the berth. So the highest finishing team from Region 10 will earn the berth available.

wmorrison - you can still play in Slugger Fest.

I will do that just after the ASA convention to be sure I don't have any conflicts with qualifiers, etc.

Ignore my question. I finally followed directions and went to your web site for details.
