Any updates on the Slugger Fest 16u scores/results for today? 15u Buckeye Heat-Toledo went 4-3 in the tournament, losing to two very tough teams late last night...Team Worth (Tennessee) and Lady Charmers (Dayton).

Are Team Worth and Shock both 15U or 16U girls? Just wondering who will be moving up to 18U in the fall.

Team Worth was the real deal and the Shock was really the only team that played them tough.....alot of great competition at Sluggerfest.....we were very happy our 16 year old Miami Valley Vipers placed third and our U15 Vipers placed in the top six..........first and second would have been great but the two deserving teams took 1st and 2nd.......didn't get to see the final game between the Shock and Worth teams but the game in the finals bracket was awesome to watch...was very impressed with how well the Shock played .... both very tough teams indeed! In talking to the Worth coach after taking lessons from them Sat nite...lol....they are all older 16's with 5 already verbally committed to colleges...watching the Shock play and getting to play Worth was an eye opener for our 14 and 15 yr olds....they now know what they have to play up to to compete at that level. Should be fun to see how they do next year as true 16 year olds.

Hands down the best collection of teams I've seen in one tourney at one age division. So much parity, so many close games. THANKS PATTY for an awesome event.

The winners bracket final was a good one we just could not seal the deal
Chip and I both agree we would like to play that collection of teams every week.
all of the pitchers we faced were very good and our defense got a great workout facing some great hitters.
