I'd like to thank Bear for allowing me to make the following post.......

Coaches--I've created a new website for coaches, trainers, and sport performance specialists. It's called CoachBook. It's like Facebook, but it's designed to be a place where sport professionals can interact with each other and promote their teams, website, services, and products. You can create your own profile where you can post photos, videos, schedules, and documents such as handouts or registration forms. You can also add your upcoming events such as tournaments. You can do a lot of great stuff. There is also a discussion area, job board, and a store.

Everything is still in the early stages, but I've gotten a few big name coaches to sign up. Check it out and lemme know what you think.......remember it's designed so that you can promote yourself and your team!! CoachBook - www.coachbook.ning.com

CoachBook will be on the Kidz n Sports radio show in California on Nov. 17th and on a nationally syndicated show at some point next week--I'll provide further details when available. We have signed a new partnership, so look for big things to come in the next couple of weeks!

We have some new features at CoachBook: Classified Ads, updated Job Board, Recruiting forum for coaches, and live interactive broadcasts. First broadcast is Monday Dec. 15th at 8pm EST. Not sure what my topic will be that night--it will probably be pretty random since it is my first time. I'll be taking live callers and you can participate in interactive chat during the show as well!

Great! We play at 5 pm. Been requiring all the players to bunt/slap for a few weeks to improve execution in that phase. May let them loose a bit tomorrow. Look forward to meeting you in person.

CoachBook, the social network for sport professionals, has just surpassed 1000 members in only 7 months of existence! What does this mean for you? It means that you have access to over 1000 coaches, trainers, performance specialists, and other sports professionals to connect, network, and interact with.

This summer, CoachBook has plans to offer access to many of our members. We are booking guests for our CoachBook LIVE! webcasts. We are also scheduling live WhiteBoard chats with coaches giving free online clinics! If you would like to be a guest coach on our webcasts or clinics, please send us an email to schedule a date!

If you haven't been to CoachBook in a while, be sure to check out the new chat room and the Job Feed. You can also now follow CoachBook on Twitter - www.twitter.com/coachbook.

Thanks to all of you who have helped make CoachBook the best network for sports professionals! Stop by and say hi, and be sure to invite your coaching friends! www.coachbook.ning.com
