Apparently not all Rivershores tournaments were not listed on the master list. They have always been listed in the past. Storm, Doom, Static and Bustos Tournaments are on there now. Hope this helps us all.

cksmith, you da' man!!! Good catch and lesson learned. Hope that helps get the teams coming in. Rivershore is such a good venue it would be worth someone's efforts to come on down and if you play in more than one the incentives grow!!!

Looks like clinic will have two to three hours of hitting, break for food and back to fielding. We will let you know the complete makeup as we finalize everything with Crystl, Howard and Laura. Keep those registrations rolling.

Marcia - you should have warned me that Crystl was putting on a demonstration - I will have to move the fences out - LOL I have seen her hit!
I can attest that during the tournament - Crystl has been caught in the dugout with the girls during their games and after their games - she sits and watches games all day.
Where else are you going to go and spend an entire weekend with the Olympic Gold talent that the Ultimates have put together?

Patty-I say we challenge some of the men that "played ball back in the day" to a hitting contest with Crystl. I remember her going against some of the baseball guys that year in Florida-watching her hit is amazing!

We will do hitting from 8 till 11 AM and they will sign autographs and we will do fielding at 11:30 AM till 12:30 PM and Laura will be doing slapping while Crystl does the fielding and it may run till 1 PM and then autographs again for those that were not there for hitting. Crystl and Laura will be there most of the day so getting a picture or something signed will not be an issue.
Hitting will be limited to around 70 at this time so we only have 5 or less hitters per station.

We will be doing a hitting, fielding and slapping clinic and after the clinic we are going to stay and help if requested by the coaches, players or parents if you have any questions....tell me where you can get that kind of advice or be able to approach two Olympic players of this caliber and get answers!
Many of you coaches can get a greater insight as to why we do not teach swinging down on the ball or level to the ball and how we measure and explain the big zone...if you believe in something and teach it you should be able to defend what you believe in and maybe Crystl and Laura can offer you some insights as to why some techniques do not work as well as what you are doing and they can help you understand a better way to do it.
I could be wrong however I do not know of a tournament that offers this kind of help held anywhere around here for the price this team is offering it at and River Shores along with Patty and the Busto's organization is bringing it to you.

Due to too many calamity days in the area the 4th Annual Bustos blast and Clinic at Rivershores on Memorial Day weekend will be shortened from a three day to a Sat-Sun event. The clinic with Crystl Bustos, Laura Berg and Howard Carrier will go on as planned on Sat morning. Games will begin right after the clinic and will be played later into the evening. Thanks Les, we have one confirmation from a local 14u but we need more 14s, 12s and tens. It is always a great weekend with Crystl and Howard plus we get the added bonus of Laura Berg. There are hints that some college coaches will be showing face from out west and from around home. More info to come!

Jerry Breaux is trying to come to town that weekend and is from Evangel University.
Crystl may also be bringing down some of her Akron Racers teammates also to help out.
Would like to get more teams involved to kick the summer off....
After the hitting clinic we will be staying around during the clinic all day to answer questions from the parents/ players or coaches. What better way to get the summer started off with a tune up for hitting and then help afterward so if there was something you did not understand we will be there to help you.
It has always been interesting working with everyone after a clinic and seeing the kids use the techniques and getting better. It is also helpful when a coach finds out why we do not teach laying the bat backwards or swinging down or level to the ball and you get to ask the Pro's yourself such as Crystl and Laura and her team mates or college coaches.
Look forward to seeing you at the clinic and then during the games.

Confirmed that Hoosier Elite and Milan Diggers will be in the field of 14s and waiting on 1 more to confirm. That makes 7 in the 14s. Need at least one more. Get those clinic reg in asap. There is a cap. Still need more 10s and 12s for the tourney. Should be a great weekend. Remember clinic is Sat morning and games are Sat and Sun. Look for info about private dinner with Crystl coming soon!!!!!
