We just had a team drop out for Saturday, so we are looking for a team to fiil the #2 slot on Field #2. Your games would go off at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., call me at 330-307-9315 ASAP if you are interested.

Tarps come off at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow and the weather looks pretty decent! Games start at 11:00 a.m., full concession stand (our famous walking tacos and pepperoni rolls), and TV 21 & 27, along with the Vindicator and Tribune will be there to view the girl's play!!!!

Thank you for the work you guys put in today, the fields were in great shape as always. Southeast over Champion 3-2 (I think) and what a power hitter at Champion, 2 over the fence, one a rope line drive. 2nd game Southeast over South Range 2-0. This was a pitchers duel from the start but soph Kayla Williams the the win. SR pitcher is a stud player.

The Optimist Club of Bazatta/Cortland and the Valley Extreme hope all the teams had a great time at Candlelite Knolls on Saturday! We are planning on making the an annual event so mark your calendars for 2010. The date will be 3/27/10, and if the response of the 17 teams grows we will look to play Sunday afternoon as well. It is amazing what you can do with four nice fields with tarps!

We are also planning on renting these fields out on the weekends this season if anyone is interested, call my cell at 330-307-9315. And for 2010 we will look to rent them out during the week....

The player was Jessica Downs who plays for Lakeview should find out today if anything is torn in the knee. Big bat for Lakeview and will be greatly missed, lets keep our fingers crossed!
