Isn't there a Division 5 & 6? There's 20 teams playing at the Wendy's Classic this year. The weather is supposed to be wonderful on Friday & Saturday. Looking forward to it.

eatsleepfastpitch Ohio has only 4 divisions for fastpitch softball.

BTW, the 20 teams playing at Wendy's this weekend represent some of the best in Ohio and surrounding states. For those who have never had the chance to get up there and catch some games it is well worth your time to check it out sometime. They do it real good up there in Ashland and they are a class act.

Where is Glen Este in the state poll?

It's like the West Coast says, an East Coast bias, but only in this case it's a Northern Ohio bias!!!! If Glen Este keeps winning, I'm sure they will be there. It's not where you are now, it's where you end up.

#6 Gahanna Lincoln at #2 Grove City

#6 vs. #2 would be a great game to watch. Don't usually get to see that kind of competition until post season. They'll probably be a lot of that competition this year because many of the top teams are coming from the same division or conference.

reddog Gleneste is a very nice team and I'm sure that they will get their recognition before the season is over. They can play with any of the teams on that list. Normally the early polls favor history and expectations not always first week results. If they keep winning they will be on there.

One of the toughest Districts is the Akron Div II. #3 Hoban, #4 Walsh, & #7 Tallmadge and only one will make it into the Regionals.
