results for the sringrays (Caton) 13u Lost 6-1 to the Doom --E Anderson shut us down. Had a chance or two to get close but did'nt get ant key hits. B palmer puts game out of reach with a 2 run dinger.

Lost 3-2 or to Ice Silver in ITB 8 innings. runner leaving early called out late in the game hurt bady --very questionable call , but no excuses for not hitting any better as a team , just not enough quailty AB"s against 2 good pitchers from the doom and ice. well played game in 40 MPH winds . Winds are better today , temps dropped 10 degress , wind only blowing 25 MPH .

owned us again in the bracket play game 8-0 Doom . We played pretty loose ball, not many quality AB's. E Anderson was tough again , now throwing full count changes for strikes to go along with the curve and rize. Doom over Valley Ext 12-0 in one semi. another shutout . Ice and Maddogs playing in the other semi.

I think it was 9-8

That semi was crazy as the Ice rallied to get 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th before a line-drive double play ended it. The Doom pitcher looked tough in the final up until we left when the Maddogs were trailing 3-0 I believe.

The Doom played solid ball all weekend and deserved their wins, and they can hit!! That pitcher was very, very good, and their defense is solid.
I'm very proud of the Maddogs. We played very, very good ball all weekend until the 7th inning meltdown against the Ice. We were lucky to come out of that with a win. The game with the Doom was a hard fought battle. They just out hit us. I can't wait until my kid and the Zeiger kid are able to play with the team again. It's gonna be a fun summer.
