In exchange for giving the 18U some innings we are giving 2 - 16U berths instead of just 1.

I-75 to exit 68(tippcity) go east(downtown) to the 4th light after the railroad tracks.(1st street). Turn right, go approx 1 mile. Entrance to the park is on your left just across from the nawa water plant. (pin high golf sign is at the park entrance)

how did mv xpress 14 u get knocked out ,one page had them listed and now there not?

Unfortunately the Xpress 14U did not get payment in soon enough. Payment in full was mailed in from the final team before xpress sent in their payment.

We did not know the final team was entering until their payment got to us that is why xpress was listed as the final team.

Tournament was listed as "First come, First serve" since July.

Let's hope there isn't too much rain in the next day and a half. How well do the fields drain?

The fields drain well. We have plenty of field dry and will be mounding the possible low spots so they just settle instead of puddling as much.

Worst case scenerio is that we would have to push back the start time an hour or so.

We are watching the weather closely and are doing as much field prep as possible before the rain in order to be better prepared.

These guys did an awesome job getting the fields ready the weekend before and the fields drain very well on top of it. Looking forward to a great weekend of ball!

Well, I'm feeling a little more optimistic hearing about the great job the Valley Storm org does in preparing the fields, but it sure would be nice if it stopped raining too.

Any chance they have walking tacos? If not, the Hickory River pulled pork sandwiches they had at the Elizabeth Spano tournament last year would be good too.

Walking Tacos will be on site.

This tournament WILL go on. Depending upon how much rain we do indeed get we may have to change the schedule a little. If a schedule change is needed, we will post on OFC and Email coaches tomorrow evening.

They are calling for 3 to 4 inches of rain in the next 2 days but we can still make it work !!!
