Oh I have had all the fun I can handle with the local squirrels!!

Who do you guys think will come out on top in Central...I think Fairmont, Northmont, Fairborn and Wayne could come up with a 4 way tie!!

Central is to close to call.......... Northmont may have the advantage in pitching as far as experience goes with Fisher and Clutter
The Creek is adding some pitching this season but needs offense
Fairmont always seems to find a way to make its self compete and not realy sure who they lost last year.
People laugh at me when i say this but someday Springfield will surprise some folks, thier pitcher has realy good speed, again just lacking the offense to back it up.
Centerville , like the burg in the south got decimated by seniors leaving.......
Wayne is like Fairmont in that their always tough.... the loss of a realy good athletic player last season may affect them for the first few games till they find their bearings, but the,ll come out fighting
The Central is up for grabs

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

You are right, Springfield is a sleeper that may surprise everyone, their catcher can hit a mile.

With us, we lost our starting CF, SS and C and really have no one coming up with much if any varsity innings, especially at SS & C.

Beavercreek was a giant killer last year beating Fairmont twice somehow, maybe they'll do the same this year?

I think Fairmont has all the tools though, especially pitching (Walk & Klink) & offense (Schnarr), though Fairborn, Wayne and Northmont can beat them when Fairmont is emotionally down...

We lost our ss and 1st baseman to graduation and our cf to a season ending knee injury in bb ( God I hate hardwood sports) so what we considerd was going to be our run at things year has wound up with a team of underclassman that have to prove themselves just like last season......... maybe next year

The underclassmen have to step up, focus and perform.

A state championship would look nice in the schools trophy case.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

I think in the North I expect Piqua to fight for the top this year. Butler and Sidney are loosing their #1 pitcher from last year. Piqua is only loosing one senior and they have there starting pitcher back from last year Teague.

Piqua
Butler
Sidney
Troy
Trotwood

I think in the south it might end up about the same, with some changes. Miamisburg is loosing their starting pitcher from last year and some other really good seniors. I think this could be Fairborn’s year. It will be very close between Fairborn and Lebanon. I think with all the seniors Lebanon will have they will be really tough. These two teams will defiantly be vying for the top record in the GWOC.

Lebanon
Fairborn
Miamisburg
Springboro
Xenia

The central I think is really to close right now. I think Northmont will have some adjustment time with them loosing our starting SS and leading RBI hitter. We have some pretty tough freshman that might make Varsity this year. We definitely have experience coming back at most of are positions. Wayne and Fairmont are alike both very talented. I think Fairmont is very scrappy when it comes to scoring runs. They have the pitching to back it up. I think Wayne has one of the best players at her spot and maybe in southwest Ohio in Angie Clark a great all around player. Can kill the ball and is very good defensively at SS. Both teams have strong pitching along with Northmont. In the central it will come down to who can hit in the key situations in the game. I don't think Springfield will beat any of these teams but you never know. They have got better the last two years. I still think Centerville will put up a very tough fight against any of these teams. It will be a very close race between Fairmont, Northmont, and Wayne.

Yeh, I think Central is going to be where all the action is...any team can beat the other given the right circumstances...

I don't know about Kat - she smells like stinky cheese and only went 1 for 2 against Colerain Saturday, it'll be fun to see Mo at bat though!!!! You guys are bringing the dogs and beverages for the scrimmage - right? :)
