Agree Howard is incredible and his style really works. That is why we looked for someone that has been around him alot and has experience teaching that Kobata style.
We think we have found the perfect fit and look forward to Saturday
STYLE?????????????????
That is funny. I guess YELLING at girls identifying in the most embarrassing manner how poorly their mechanics are can be construed as a style. KEEP READING, this is actually a compliment...COMING....
Howard taught me a couple things after watching the first time.
- We are WAY TOO SOFT ON OUR GIRLS. They can take it and at times NEED that level of PUSHING!
- Howard DEMANDS execution, WHY DON'T WE? If we have the information, and have practiced something a few times to understand what the end result NEEDS to be.
Howard's critique's mostly identify that a kid is NOT listening or understanding or possibly NOT READY for what he's teaching. If a kid is athletic, decent brain, and willing to work hard:
THERE SHOULD BE TREMENDOUS IMPROVEMENT AFTER ONE SESSION. WILL IT BE ANYWHERE THEY NEED TO BE? NO! BUT IF THERE ISN"T A BIG DIFFERENCE AFTER THREE HOURS OF EXCRUCIATING DETAIL WITH ALL THREE LEARNING TECHNIQUES PROVIDED FOR ALL THE GIRLS TO ABSORB INFO IN THEIR OWN WAY, THEN THAT DD ISN'T LISTENING OR UNDERSTANDING OR NOT CAPABLE! HOWARD DOESN"T ALLOW ANYONE TO GO THRU THE MOTIONS AND NOT IMPROVE IMMEDIATELY.
