The Athletes in Action sports complex located in Xenia, Ohio has two very nice softball fields. They are constructed of natural clay infields and synthetic turf outfields. The drainage system and tarps allow our field to be playable when many others aren't. Both of our fields have scoreboards, in ground dugouts, batting tunnels, and bullpens. One field is lighted as well. Keep us in mind this spring and summer if you are looking for a rain site, a central location, or are in need of a facility for any other reason.

$150 for 1 game

At those rates, for a weekend tournament you'd have to more than double entry fees.

Including the use of the lights, correct ? Let's say Sat 8am to 10 pm or so in the summer months.. then 8am on Sunday until it is finished.. around 4 or 5 pm.

What do you think about that Funsister ? Being in Clinton County... I would have thought you'd known about this facility...lol

I like it. Trouble is... I was doing the math and it would take two sets of 6 teams to make it work... doing a 3 pool and single elimination format.

They take care of it.. tarped and drains well.....

10u 1-2...... 3-4 at 8:00 am
10u 1-3...... 5-6 at 9:30
10u 4-5...... 2-6 at 11:00
12u 1-2...... 3-4 at 12:30
10u 4-6...... 2-3 at 2:00

12u 4-5...... 2-6 at 5:00
12u 2-3 on lighted field at 6:30
12u 4-6 on lighted field at 8:00

My DD went there for a weekend camp held by wright st a few years back.

the facilities are top notch 2 huge s@ccar fields, baseball,football and softball

gets very warm on the field in the hot summer days.

There will be a 10u - 12u event at this facility on May 15th and 16th. Facility link: http://athletesinaction.org/sportscenter/softball.aspx

I will be only taking 6 10u teams and 6 12u teams for the event.

Cost is $400.00 per team.

The tournament thread will be in the Other Tournament section of the OFC.

Dorm rooms are also available for overnight stays as well as coach's quarter suite w/bathrooms. 3 beds to a dorm room I will put the cost in the tournament thread later by morning.
