The Ohio Lady Patroits 10u announces that they will host a 10u event at Ohio Lady Patriots Fields located at 7927 Cleveland-Massillion Rd in Clinton, Ohio.

This event will be a 5 game guarentee .

The cost is $ 375.00. Contact Sean Webb at the below info to pay the deposit for the tournament.

As the tournament director for this event in Clinton/Akron area... each girl in the tournament will be given a FREE Akron Racers ticket for attending the Chicago Bandits vs Akron Racers at Firestone Stadium on the night of July 24th.



The girls will enjoy not only the game but...

1) Two (2) teams will be drawed from a hat of the eight (8) teams participating in the event to appear in the "Pre game Parade of Champions". Please note: Being this is run by the Lady Patriots ... their team or players will not be participating in ANY of the drawings so the other teams and girls get an opportunity to paticipate at the Racers game.

2) Two (2) girls, drawed from a hat, will be throwing out the first pitch

3) Six (6) girls will be drawn out of a hat to be official bat girl for two innings.

4) Post game autographs.

COACHES: Please let me know how many parents are going to attend the game as well so we can get tickets ordered asap. Go to www.akronracers.org and click "Tickets" so the parents can see what seating is available. Coaches MUST sit with their girls at the game.

We have blocked off 300 seats at the Akrons Racers game for the girls and the parents . Should be a huge crowd that night at the game as the Pony Nationals are in town starting on Monday.

Jump in 10u teams. Should be a lot of fun for the girls !!!

Come join us... These kids get to be introduced with the pros when they take the field ( 2 teams), 6 girls get to be honorary bat girls for two innings each, then a meet and great with the Akron Players for autographs and pictures after the game for ALL the girls .....

This is going to be a yearly tournament for the girls. Next year we will have a 12u and 14u division as well.

Play five (5) games - go to the Akron Racers game - participate in the "on field" activities - post game autographs and pictures with the Racer players - free dinner.

Kids get to go to the Akron Racers game and have fun with the teams. Can you imagine the eyes of a 10u standing next to Chicago's Jenny Finch and Akron's Crystal Bustos.

I'd gave my right arm to stand next to Johnny Bench when I was a kid.

Jump on in 10u teams because in the last 48 hrs I have heard from 6 teams in the 10u.

Max we can go in 10u is 8 teams.

This is a great idea for the girls we have worked hard in planning this event ,we are hoping to pull in enough teams to make this happen .The fields are very well maintained plenty of parking and area for tents Our fields sit on 15 acre of property .We are trying to have our first tournament in hopes that it will grow into a large event downt the road . If there are any Questions please feel free to contact myself or Quakerman we both would be happy to answer anything you might have to ask about tournament .

Sean: I heard from three more via e-mail over the weekend in the 10u bracket.
Cancelling the 12u event and making it only 10u and taking a total of 8 teams only so all the teams aren't rushed to go see the Racers game that Saturday night.

8 teams - four pool and a single elimination and still being able to provide the kids with a free ticket and dinner at the Racer's Saturday night game.

It was great to finally meet you and check out the ballfields at your fields and the local ones where in 2011 we can make it grow !!!

But, because of the 10u response... we have to cancel the 12u event being we aren't getting the response there.

First teams who come in the first year, is asked back for the second year and we will be adding 12u and 14u in 2011 event. Every year going to the Racers game for the girls is happening.

Coaches and Parents: There will be NO concession there so bring the picnic supplies AND lawnchairs and tents. Overnight camping is encouraged !!!!!!!

Picnic and softball. Can't beat it. On Saturday, all eight (8) teams will have breaks between games. Done early enough to go back to rooms, etc... and get ready for the Akron Racers game that night.

Can't wait until we see the kids eyes while being introduced on the fields with the pros. ( 2 teams)

Girls MUST bring their helmets to go onto the field and as bat girls. NO EXCEPTION !!!!
