Schedules will be sent out to the coaches on Tuesday the 29th.

The whole Akron Racers team will be present at this event watching the girls at 11 am on Saturday. Joey Arietta said if the girls and parents of the teams are coming to support the Racers on Saturday - then the Racers will be there to support them on Saturday at their event.

I FINALLY found autograph books for the girls !!! Each girls will receive an autograph book for autographs on Saturday night at the game.

Wish we had more room as we could have filled up a 12u division this year as well. They started coming in late.. and after 10u's went past 5 teams

In 2011, we have 14 diamonds right down the street, plus the 2 we are using for this year's event. We will have a 12u and 14u divisions next year with "A" and "B" divisions in each age group.

Tournament game times are like this so we can stop early on Saturday for the girls to attend the 7:35 pm game of Akron Racers versus Chicago Bandits.

8am.........BLIND DRAW for the 4th game played across divisions (1,2,3,4 VS 5,6,7,8)
9:30 .......BLIND DRAW for the 4th game played across divisions
11am...... Single Eliminations "A"
12:30..... Single eliminations "B"
2:30 ...... Championship for both "A" and "B" (full games)

I'll be a day late putting out the schedule as I was surprised and given tickets to the Reds game tonight...FRONT ROW by my brother and sisters for my birthday.

Obviously, if you are in the "B" division .. you first game is at 8 am for all "B" teams and "A" start at 9:30

The Akron Racers game on Saturday night starts at 7:05 instead of what I had posted at 7:35.

Went to a semi-pro baseball game last night in Chillicothe... and the Paints had a program as well where the kids get announced on the field, throw out the first pitch, bat person, etc... and those 9 and 10 year old boys was just in heaven. Eyes so huge.

I can't wait to see the girls eyes when it comes tournament time.

Praying every day for good weather on the 24th-25th for the girls.

Had huge amount of emails and phone calls from rec coaches asking if they can bring their team to watch and meet the Racers ladies.

Folks, this isn't a private tournament where we are only allowing the people involved to be there.

This is open to every girl in the world that wants to come watch, get an autograph, talk with the Racer ladies...whatever.

Bring a picnic, bring your autograph books, bring your cameras, bring grandma and grandpa..... bring a rec girl from the neighborhood.....just come have fun.

But I can't stress it enough... BRING A LAWNCHAIR !!!!

In 2011, the semis and finals for all the age groups (10u, 12u and 14u) are being planned for Firestone. In 2011, is when we throw a real party/tournament for the girls.

I ordered one (1) of the tournament rings to see what it was like... these girls are going to love these rings. I was impressed by the ring.

The Ohio Emeralds 10u team is playing in this event and let me be the 1st to sign up for 2011 as a 12u we may be a bunch of 11's but just being involved will be worth it.:yahoo:
