Losers bracket semi's Lasers White over Tidalwaves
Losers bracket final Lasers White vs. Classics Black (Classics won earlier matchup)
This winner will play Lasers Scarlet who is waiting in the winners bracket

So final four is
Tidalwaves
Lasers White
Classics Black
Lasers Scarlet

Great weekend! Great games! Great complex! Once my team was eliminated it took me awhile to leave because this collection of teams made for some great softball being played.

I think last game is scheduled for 8pm. When (heart of Ohio Force) left, it was down to 8 teams total. So it should have been very interesting to see how it all works out. I will take a guess till someone post.

Classic Black
Laser Scarlet
Laser White
tidelwaves??

anyone else??

Vipers...yes you did! As I was being told who was left, your post flashed through my mind. We'll see if your powers prove you right once again...........

Sapphires and Ohio Ice are both bridesmaids tied for 5th (I suppose), making it to the final 6.

Both of the Sapphire's Bracket losses were to Final Four teams ... Lasers Scarlet and Tidalwaves. Sapphires led Scarlet going into the 7th, and led Tidalwaves going into the bottom of 5 before both of those teams showed why they deservd their bids, by getting down to business when it mattered most.

Ohio Ice scored a run and loaded the bases in the last inning before Lasers White closed them out on a deep fly to center to end that game with the tying runs on base.

Classics Black endured a lot, including a significant injury to punch their ticket also.

Don't know who finished where among the Final Four, but can't wait to hear all about it. Had a lot of competitive fun this weekend, doing battle with friends and foes .... it was a GREAT tournament from my viewpoint. Had the feel of a Nationals. Very nice fields, quality Umps, and a tournament staff that was organized and top notch with the weather boogie-man lurking.

Congratulations to all, and most especially those teams that qualified for College Station. Represent Ohio well!

good experience as well, we went 6-2 and I'm not crying over losing to 2 solid teams

from the people we met and the intensity of the matchups, it was a good deal

Anyone who would have allowed games to e played on that field would have been irresponsible. I don't think you would have wanted one of your players risking their season on that field. The University of Findlay oach had the final say and he said he would not put his kids out there. I always you have to put the kids first.

Nice job this week Mike, I knew they could hold their own with the best of them. Have a good time at Nationals. Glad to here about Madison getting into one.

Congrats to both Laser teams, also Classics Black & Tidalwaves. Didn't know much about the Tidalwaves, what a great team. Sorry to hear about the injury to Classics Black player during warm-ups, hope she is ok. Sapphires and Ice also tough, (Ice can flat out hit the ball) and Classics Purple, although we didn't get the chance to have a "round 4", I think we placed togther tied at 7th.

Any team that survived and stayed up in the winners bracket late had a huge advantage. Once you went to losers bracket it was a long, tough trip to reach the top playing back to backs, it was fun though with some awesome teams.

Hats off to the folks who ran this event, 1 hour 40 minute pool games amd no time limit elim games even after a 3 hour rain delay on Sunday. That is how a tournament should be run. Decided by the players on the field, not a stopwatch hanging on the fence..

I have to say, they need to come up with something to avoid a game ending @ 1am on Sunday night/Monday morning. We had to be in Findlay for a Thursday night game for our first and our last started around midnight on Sunday night. I got home around 3:30am. I love watching my kids play softball, but that is a bit ridiculous.
