CONGRATS Classics on making it an all OHIO finals!!! Both these teams played tough all weekend with the championship game ending at 1:30 in the morning. The girls on both teams were beat!! Matt and The Classics you're the greatest group of young ladies, coaches and parents we have ever seen! Best of luck next season. Thanks Eric

I think The Ohio Ice 10U was in the Champioship game but don't know who won.

Matt, funny you say that we don't allow the girls to do energy drinks but by the 3rd inning we were looking for anything we could for energy. Again GREAT weekend!!!

Congrats to the Spirit on a great weekend! You hit the ball very well. Can't believe out of 46 teams the 2 finalist came from OHIO and the same pool.

It was a great weekend for our Classics 98' team. Matt and the staff has the girls believing and improving each week. From almost being knocked out in the first round, to beating two very good teams in quarter's and semi's it was a roller coaster. Pitching, defense, and bats were there this weekend. Just fell short to great team in the end.

Another great showing for Matt and his Classics. I believe this team is going to be a treat to watch next year, they were this year but look out in 2011. The parents on this team are going to have to build 2x4 shelves to hold their kids hardware next year. Nice job Matt and girls.

Thanks for all of the congrats!! We are very proud of the girls, and just now getting caught up on sleep. I was able to watch alot of Ohio teams and WE ALL represented OHIO well!! Must say all of the OHIO coaches I talked to or played were class acts, can't say that for some of the other teams from other states. Best of luck to all!!! Eric

btw. Thanks Matt(Classics) for having a great sound system, now my girls say they have to have one.

Wow, you must not have seen all of the Ohio coaches. While many were class acts, there were a few that were not. One Ohio organization in particular (I wont name names) had a few coaches that were definately NOT class acts. I'm sure they know who they are. I'm not sure why you are taking jabs at the other states that were there, but believe me, not all the Ohio teams were classy, in fact some were far from it.

Sorry didn't intend to be taking jabs, just had a issue to two thats all. But I did say "coaches I talked to or met" I never said I met everyone. I also said "SOME of the teams" not all. Again I apologize if you took this as a jab. All in all we had a great time and met some great people from all over. Thanks

I agree, it was a great tournament, we had a blast. Our girls cant wait to go back next year. Hopefully it wont rain next year, those short games are killer, but they did a good job of getting all the games in.
