Part of the drive there is a little eye opening but the fields are nice and their on the York univ. campus I think. Haven't had any problems. Staying at Holiday Inn 15 min. away. TD did a good job yesterday keeping us on schedule would've started first game almost 2.5 hrs late but they moved us to open field to play and started last game only hour late. Girls having fun and playing well.

M. C. Madness went 1 - 1 in pool play and 6 - 3 over all. Just had an unbelievable game against the Marion Merchants that went 13 innings and won 8-6. Team was exhausted going into final game against Parkville Thunder out of Baltimore PA. Finished tied for 9th. . .Great weekend!

It was eye opening driving through the neighborhoods. Lot's of people sitting around on stoops, crossing in front of traffic. Downtown was like night and day. Old town with narrow streets. Learn how to get on I83 and bypass town all together. It is the Mt Rose exit where the fields are.
I believe it was Mt. Rose, to Amberle, quick left then right onto Boundary to Vander. Watch those speed tables (yes tables). They will do a number on your suspension. Fields were very nice but please do not leave anything in site in your car. Only heard of one break in but it was a crime of opportunity. High police presence at the park. Must have heard all the bad press. Have fun and be vigilent like you would anywhere.
Congrats to MC Madness on a fine showing. Another year under their belt and they will be a force to be reconed with going forward.

The marathon game vs the Ohio Dynamite was one of the best games I've had the pleasure to coach. It wasn't a "clean" game by either team on defense, but both teams battled back and forth throughout. Some of the most fun I've ever had on a ball field.

yes that is the correct way to the fields....so u by pass the eye opening neighborhood...we had no problems..stayd bout 27miles North on 83 N.Days Inn Lewisberry Rd exit...not the most cleanest or newest hotel but was doable...pool area was a nice gathering spot...Pizza Hut deliveries to pool too....

Wrong Madness team. That would be the Madness Black coached by Gary Saunders that is 14u. We are the Madness Red 13u team and have another year at 14 and would love to find a couple of kick butt pitchers to add to this team!

Marion Merchants Black finished 3 wins and 2 loses for the weekend. Fields were in very good shape and all had nice temporary fences. TD ran a well organized tournament, and my girls had a blast. we only took 10 girls and they became very close over the weekend, a very good team building experience. Congrats to MC Madness who put us out, very nice team that can hit the ball, nice meeting you feisty mom. anybody know how my friends on the Medina Heat and Ohio Swarm finished. Both are excellent teams. Ohio was well represented this weekend.

Ohio Swarm finished tied for 9th. We ran into 2 tough teams and also ourselves. Too many errors. We beat Medina Heat to put them into losers bracket. they were still playing when we left. Great week of softball. Good for our girls too.
