HEY you missed the OFC HEAT 96 from Cincy. We won out first pool game 12-1 over the Sting, from Philly I believe. Second game stopped for lightening delay and resumes tomorrow at 7:30 AM. WAY TOO EARLY! LOL

Buckeye Heat 96-Lee Scores

Buckeye Heat 96-Lee lost 1st game to the Ulster Fillies 4-0.

Buckeye Heat 96-Lee won there 2nd game against the PA Shooting Stars 9-2.

Buckeye Heat 96-Lee went 1-1 in Pool Play. Double elimination starts Thursday.

OFC Heat 96 (Cincinnati) won their first bracet game 7-2 over PA Sting. Lost second game 3-4 to Pitt Power. We were up the entire game but blew it in the bottom of 7th when we let a grounder to the left go for a home run. She was a speedster. Congrats Power.

First bracket in losers side was rained delayed until friday

Thanks for the update on the OFC Heat game. Our daughter Casey is subbing for your team this week. All I have gotten from her regarding this game is "I'll call later than you think I should because the game has been delayed".......I'll say....

Sounds like she is having fun hanging out with the girls. She having a "Blast" with the Heat haha

I think she is having a lot of fun (blast) and she is doing very well. Solid on defense and hitting great. She is finding the gaps. Very nice young lady. We are glad she is with us.

This is Gary Saunders 14u Black team and they will move up to the 15u next year. . .Awesome group of young ladies that work together like a well oiled machine.

OFC HEAT 96 (Cincinnati Ohio)

Earned #2 seed

Bracket Play:
Won vs Philly Spirit Black
Loss vs Pitt Power Frey
Won vs Ohio Dragons 14u
Won vs Juanita Jaguars
Loss vs Lady Rebels 14u

On Friday we beat the Dragons, had a short break then beat the Jaguars but no break before the Rebels. Had to stay on the field and play. The Rebels watched us play the Dragons laying in the shade then came in well rested while we were cooked and out of gas. It was fun though. Our first loss against the Pitt Power we were ahead the whole game but gave up a home run off a grounder in the bottom of the 7th. Heart breaking but it was a good hard hit by a speedster who made it happen.

Madness-Black tied in the 7th due to a poor call by umpire. . .Come on Madness get it done!

Getting updates from parents on a regular basis.

Game still tied going into the 8th and starting International Tie Breaker.

Bottom of the 8th and Madness is home team. . . come on ladies get that run in!

Top of 9th game still tied. . .
What is it about us and the need for multiple ITB's. . .13u had 13 at nationals and now the 14's. . .get the prayer power going OHIO!
