Are Nothmont and Lebanon the powerhouses this year? They looked good at West Carrolton last Saturday.

Lebanon for sure. I'm not familiar with Northmont this year but they always seem to be tough.

Lebanon handed out a whoopin' on the Bolts in the second game.
To me, three teams will battle for the SW region this year: Lebanon, Mason, and Lakota West. Northmont will surprise but they are very young. I can't see them upsetting one of these three teams.

Lebanon would have to be the top dog in the south, Centerville and the Bolts should battle for the central. Greenville should be strong in the north, they started four freshmen and two sophmores last year, and could start a few freshmen this year.

Agreed. Fairfield could challenge too if they get a few breaks. They have good pitching and some talented position players. Mason and Lebanon looked good in Mason last week especially considering it was the first week of scrimmages. Mason has depth down into their JV Team and West has great pitching so the GMC should be a battle.

Fairmont is going to surprise people in the central stumbled out of the gates but now hitting on all cylinders so we will see new coaches have the girls playing well
