Ha. I was seriously considering making a alternate name called "anti-yossarian" and then going on and trolling myself with awful comments in this thread, for some laughs.
But, that's a lot of work and I'd worry I might get kicked off the forum for contradicting myself.
I did brainstorm some pretty funny/horrible things to say to myself though...

I really don't have a problem with making people include a signature on their post I started doing this sometime last year. But I am also okay if we don't. Whatever is the way it goes I will live with it regardless.

I've decided that since this seem to be a serious topic for some and allot of good points have been made on both sides of the Thread. That on Tuesday the 1st @ 8 p.m. The main topic for the show would be about this thread. Join the chat room and ask me questions during the show. I will be ready, as will be Jeff to take a real look into this topic. By the way this will be the end of the regular Tuesday night show until we start back up around March of 2016. Jeff and I plan on having a monthly show to help (The Voice of Softball) stay fine tuned for 2016.

1. Please limit 1 user one account. You don't need more then one unless you want to answer yourself or stir the pot.
2. Its the internet. There are a lot of concerns but requiring a signature? I do not post garbage, bash others, or organizations. I am not on Linked in and don't participate in facebook. I am off the "grid" except for OFC. If you don't want to read what I post put me on ignore. I want to be able to hang around and give back what I can and avoid the drama.
98% of users on here follow the rules and don't cause drama. Isn't the real concern with those who misuse the site?

He was the at the start of the Outlaw tryouts there and Bouldersdad told me who he was.
It was indeed a dice man sighting, i talked to him for a while. The bad grammar and spelling was no act lol.

Just an FYI;
A little understanding of ipLogger.org and you can track down the offenders. It's not bullet proof; however, it does work. I have used it to track down the trolls.

I agree with those of you who say there are some good reasons to not use your real name . I also do agree that bashing another organization just to benefit your own organization is wrong however , if you are speaking the truth about another organization isn't that good information? I think its just like calling in annoamis tips for a crime that was committed, using another name allows you to share information about teams or organizations that maybe they don't want everyone to know about and insures your safety . Again though it should not be used just to try and bring an organization down just because you stand to benefit from it .

After thinking about the OP, I have flip-flopped my original opinion. This site was made with certain rules that are in place. If the rules would change, that would be like changing the rules half way through a game, that's not really fair to all involved. And if members have found a way around the present rules, they will likely find ways to get around the new rules too.
That being said, I respect opinions more that come from posts with signatures and/or a high number of posts. It seems more credible, to me.

While I agree with what you have said, I also understand that forums like this exist because of the fact that some users can remain anonymous. The one thing that does stand out is the fact that some posters have multiple accounts. The only way to fix this is to monitor it. If you choose to make everyone sign on with a signature this forum will cease to exist and will become boring. I'm okay with whatever you all decide to do cause someone else will capitalize on any missteps.
