Congrats to both the Buckeye Heat-Allen 14U and the Central Ohio Stingrays 13U on a nice tourney run. I really thought the Valley Extream Blue team would come out on top, but I also thought that either the Buckeye Heat or Stingrays would be in the final.

I thought getting home from Fort Wayne at 10:30 was rough, but 1:30am, now thats dedication!!!

Good job to Tim for a fun tournament! The umpires were terrific and the games were fun. Nice to meet you lady knight.

The tournament was a terrific gage for an exciting up and coming softball summer season. Can't wait for the games to begin

Congrats to the Stingrays and Buckeye Heat, it was fun playing the both of you.

Great minds think alike.

Congrat to Coach Allen and Marde and their great group of girls for a nice win at GFOD. The competition was one of best for a winter tournament giving credit to Tim and Shane putting together a great tournament.

Oh, who is buying my steak next weekend?

Johnnies, don't be a big hurry when you go to KC's for that steak. I'm pretty sure they don't start butchering the cow until after you order. It is a good steak though. There is the all you can eat buffet at the Amish restruant (not open on Sunday though). A church in Bellville was having a free community dinner last weekend. We lot real hard about running the girls through there for dinner.

I worry about a bolt of lightning hitting me when I enter a church. (just kidding)

Will you be up that way next weekend? ?I am sure that Shane would appreciate someone helping him with the dinner bill. ? LOL

To be honest, I don't eat that much when the team is playing. ?I rather watch games than go out to eat.... that is why my blood type is O(scar Myer Weiners).

Congratulations to the Heat and Stingrays! What a great tournament to be a part of - very well run, solid umpiring and many great games. This tournament ended up being a great preview of how strong 14u will be next year with all the good 13u teams involved and the excellent 12u teams who played up.
I enjoyed watching all the games and my daughter slept like a rock long into Monday morning. Keep working hard Heart of Ohio - you're not far off and will continue to get better.

Thanks Tim and Shayne for the work you put in. I and my team rarely post but I thought it appropriate since we have always been treated well at GFOD. The tournament was well run and very accomodating to all teams involved. Thanks also to the teams that competed. All showed grace and sportmanship throughout the tournament.

SoftballLover, where are the Ohio Passion located and how long has the organization been around? I think that I saw them up in Greenville last Spring. Did they have Black/White and Pink?

Hey #5Alive, I would be happy to answer those Questions. We're in our second year and we are from the Toledo/Bowling Green area. Yes we were in Greenville last year, it was our first tournament after Bellville. We still are Black, Pink with some white and we've added grey to the mix.

Passion is a little loud, but give 'em credit -- they play with a lot of heart!!
They'd get down early, but refused to quit and had several comebacks in their games.
