WOW!!! Talk about some great 14U softball played at GFOD this weekend.

I'm a little tired, but I wanted to take the time and personally thank all of the players, coaches, friends and families who came out to GFOD this weekend and supported their teams, as well as the GFOD organization. ?Tim and his family wanted me to extend their thanks as well.

Alot of OFCer's were in attendance this weekend at GFOD. ?It was a pleasure to meet all of you, and put a face with a name. ?Please stay in touch, and look forward to seeing you on a ball field somewhere.

Some great competitive games all weekend. ?The girls were very tired after (and during) the finals. ?We didn't get home until after 1am this morning. ?I am very proud of all of our girls for giving it their all.

You could see all of the teams knocking off some of the winter rust as the weekend progressed. ?As always with indoor ball, there are innings that you love the net, and then there are innings that you cuss the net.

Congrats to The Buckeye Heat, great job.

It was good to sit and talk with old and new friends between the games.

Thanks Tim and crew for having us at your tournament.

(on a side note, I did a projection last week for the elimination bracket. I got 3 of the 4 semi-finalists right and the 2 in the championship game right, but the final didn't quite work out as I had projected. :'()

Congratulations to the Buckeye Heat. My DD had the pleasure of playing some indoor ball this winter with KK...excellent ball player and what a nice young lady. Although we couldn't attend, it was fun checking the scores and getting the regular updates.... thanks to Lady_Knights and all those who made it fun for those of us who were stuck behind our computers instead of enjoying the games live! :'(
